Evaluation of Barnardo's ReachOut Rotherham

Barnardo’s ReachOut project was established in Rotherham under a partnership funding agreement between Barnardo’s, the KPMG Foundation, Department for Education, Communities and Local Government and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC).

ReachOut is a child sexual exploitation prevention project with three main strands of activity:

• Outreach work to raise awareness and provide support to children and young people in their communities
• Healthy relationship education in schools and other settings
• One to one support for children and young people identified as at risk of CSE

Our evaluation is being carried out in partnership with the University of Bedfordshire. In the first year we have produced three rapid evidence assessments to inform the development of the project:
